Basic Riding Program - June 28 - July 2, 2010
- Ages 7-15
- 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday
- One-week session
- 15 participants, maximum
Hopkins Spring Farm's summer riding program will immerse children in the daily work and
activity of a horse farm. Our participants will learn aspects of horse care including grooming, tacking, confirmation, tack care, stable management, equine first aid. They will attend a
maximum of 2 mounted lessons per day with emphasis on centered riding. We will work on
developing balanced seats in dressage as well as cross-country and stadium jumping. Seeking riders with previous riding experience.

- 9:00 am morning drop-off, 3:00 pm afternoon pick-up

- Horse related Arts and Crafts
