Welcome to our Equestrian Center

The farm dates back to the 1700's when the surveyor of Frederick Road, Samuel Hopkins, occupied the property. In the 1800's a Menonite family ran a private school in the main house. The property at one time was a cattle and crop farm. In more recent years, the property has been a 22 acre horse farm. The farm has several barns consisting of 20 stalls, a cover-all indoor arena, outdoor arenas, and a cross-country course coming soon. The farm can accommodate shows, clinics, and meetings.

The facility has a number of horses boarded on the property, as well as school horses for the lesson program. Children and adults are encouraged to take lessons with our on-site instructors during the weekdays, evenings or weekends. There are also opportunities to bring your own horse or your private, insured, instructor on site. (Visiting Rider Information - pdf file, 72 kb)
